Individual: One-on-one AP English tutoring or SAT Literature tutoring in person or online/phone is $75 an hour. This covers 15 minutes of individualized prep time on your essays before we talk and 45 minutes of one-on-one review. All tutoring is done by me personally. You also receive a summary of our review by email. I know your time is precious, so I make it count. Small Group: Small-group tutoring is available for 2-4 friends who want to work together. The rate is $50 an hour per person. Group sessions by nature must be less flexible. Once we set the group schedule, it cannot be changed unless everyone agrees. Groups work if each student is committed to keeping up. We review essays together, and I follow up by sending email comments to each student.
Intensive Review: As the test date approaches, some students who have been unable to do advance tutoring request intensive tutoring before the test. If you are interested in intensive review, please Email Me.
Payment: I accept payment by Venmo or PayPal and ask that payment be made before the first session for new clients. For long-term clients, payment can be arranged monthly.
Sibling Discounts: For the second child in the same family, a 10 percent discount applies.
In-Person Tutoring: Tutoring can be done online via Google docs and a phone call. I can also tutor in person in the Claremont CA area. I meet students at the Honnold Library on the campus of the Claremont Colleges, at the Claremont Public Library, or at another venue we can arrange.
